Visual Studio Code - The Editor

Visual studio??
This is not the Visual Studio, that you may know for its monster IDE, for the Windows OS.
If you dont know this program, VSC, then take it for a test, I did, and I am thrilled I must say.

Hardware requirement:
1.6 GHz or faster processor
1 GB of RAM

Visual Studio Code has been tested on the following platforms:
OS X Yosemite
Windows 7 (with .NET Framework 4.5.2), 8.0, 8.1 and 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Linux (Debian): Ubuntu Desktop 14.04, Debian 7
Linux (Red Hat): Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, CentOS 7, Fedora 23

In the software manager i have in my OS, Mint Mate, there are two editions available.
One is OSS, the other is the microsoft edition.
